This January in the Coachella Valley, we celebrated the arrival of the New Defender in the U.S. with two days of epic adventure, live music and Land Rover vehicles. Attendees were treated to music from Grammy Award-winning producers and some of today’s hottest artists. The festival was also the first opportunity for people to experience the New Land Rover Defender.
THE NEW DEFENDER
At 4xFAR, for the first time, North American drivers had the opportunity to ride the iconic New Land Rover Defender on a 15-acre, purpose-built off-road course. The course featured steep ascents and declines that highlighted the off-road prowess of our most capable vehicle yet.
LAND ROVER HERITAGE
4xFAR featured some of the most legendary vehicles and adventurers in Land Rover history. The Land Rover Discovery with Camel Trophy legends Daphne Green and Jim Swett, the Land Rover Series I, Steve McQueen’s Land Rover Series II and the Range Rover Classic “The Great Divide” were all featured at the event. Each of these vehicles and individuals have incredible stories that span the globe.
Over the weekend, 4xFAR ticket holders had the opportunity to participate in over 25 activities, including axe throwing, yoga, fly fishing, climbing and bouldering, mountain biking and more.
MUSIC AND ADVENTURE RECAP
In the heart of the Coachella Valley, world famous musicians took the stage and delivered high-energy performances. 4xFAR attendees were treated to live sets from the likes of Anderson .Paak, Sofi Tukker, Mark Ronson & Q-Tip, Kaytranada and many more.
