Follow these simple tips for a longer-lasting electric vehicle.
USE RAPID DC CHARGING SPARINGLY
If rapid DC charging is used to charge to full too often it can strain the battery. To keep your vehicle in optimum charging range, set the maximum charge level to 80%.
MAINTAIN AN EVEN CHARGE
Prevent battery degradation by charging your Range Rover vehicle only when needed. Try to keep the charge between 30-80%, charging to full only when undertaking longer journeys.
DRIVE YOUR CAR REGULARLY
Your vehicle loses small amounts of charge when parked. Leaving it for long periods of time with little to no charge can affect the performance of the battery. Take your car out for short, regular trips.
EXTEND YOUR RANGE WITH
PRECONDITIONING
Extreme cold or heat can affect battery lifespan. Keep your car plugged into a home charger and the thermal management technology will maintain the battery at the optimal temperature. Use preconditioning mode and your vehicle will draw power from the charger instead of the battery.
Take care in cold conditions as driving too fast can put stress on the battery.
