NOTICE FOR RESIDENTS

Third Party Sales and Targeted Advertising (Sharing)

Like many companies, we allow certain third-party advertising partners to place tracking technology such as cookies and pixels on our websites. This technology allows these advertising partners to receive information about your activities on our website, which is then associated with your browser, device, or online identifier. These companies may use this information to serve you more relevant ads as you browse the internet. A few states consider our use of these technologies to be targeted advertising, and some view this practice as us “selling” or “sharing” your information. We may also provide your personal information to joint marketers and dealers for co-branded service offerings or joint marketing activities, and with selected third party partners to contact you about their products and services. Under state privacy law, this too may be considered a “sale” of information.

Your Right to Opt Out

Some states have passed laws providing their residents with specific rights regarding their personal information, as such term is defined by law, including the right to opt out of us selling your personal information or making it available for targeted advertising (a concept known as “sharing” in states such as California). You can exercise your right to opt out of sales and targeted advertising by contacting us or using one of the mechanisms explained in our privacy policy.

You can opt out of advertising cookies here. You may opt-out of cookies from companies that perform interest-based advertising services, including some that we may work with, via the Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) site at http://optout.aboutads.info/. You can also generally opt-out of cookies used by third party advertisers and ad networks who are members of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) by visiting http://optout.networkadvertising.org/. If you opt-out, you will still see ads but they will not be personalized based on your online activity. Additionally, if you disable your cookies or upgrade your browser after opting out, you will need to opt-out again. Further, if you use multiple browsers or devices you will need to execute this opt-out on each browser or device.
