BLACK DESIGN PACKAGE
The Black Design Package is available in all exterior color options. Features include Narvik Black grille, fender vents and black mirror caps, while black Discovery hood script and tailgate badging add the finishing touches.
The Discovery Sport Landmark Edition is available in Yulong White, Corris Grey and Narvik Black. The vehicle’s distinctive exterior features unique touches including the Carpathian Grey contrast roof, the signature bumper design, and Graphite Atlas grille and fender vents.

Land Rover has partnered with Meridian™, a world leader in high-performance audio technologies and digital sound processing, to develop advanced sound systems for the Discovery Sport. The optional 825W Meridian Digital Surround Sound System includes 17 speakers and a dual-channel subwoofer, delivering crystal clear highs and rich, deep bass notes throughout the cabin. You hear your music just how you want to.
Your smartphone and vehicle can provide a wealth of information and keep you entertained. With the 10” touchscreen’s Navigation Pro system, the way ahead can be displayed while Land Rover InControl® Apps™ helps link your smartphone seamlessly to the system, allowing you to control compatible apps via the touchscreen.16
Delivering sportier performance, the 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder Si4 gas engine has either a 237 or 286 hp output to provide maximum efficiency, performance and fuel economy through a Continuously Variable Valve Lift system in combination with variable cam timing.

COMFORT AND CONVENIENCE
POWERED GESTURE TAILGATE
Our powered gesture tailgate feature allows you to both open and close the tailgate with a simple kicking action of your foot underneath the rear of the vehicle (providing the remote key fob is detected), so loading is that much easier. Sensors are mounted on either side of the vehicle to allow convenient curbside operation.
All Discovery Sport models come with the option of touchscreen-configurable heated front seats. Heated seats are also available for your second-row passengers.
Ensure your Discovery Sport is as ready as you are with the addition of the Timed Climate feature. It can be activated remotely or preprogrammed through the touchscreen to preheat the engine and cabin so the vehicle is either warm and cozy or cool and comfortable for your departure.

CONFIGURABLE AMBIENT INTERIOR LIGHTING
With the option of Configurable Ambient Interior Lighting on the SE, Landmark Edition and HSE models (standard on HSE Luxury), you can vary the cabin lighting's color and shade to suit your mood.
The Terrain Response® system comes as standard with all All-Wheel Drive (AWD) engines and adapts to the responses of the vehicle’s engine, transmission, differentials and chassis systems to maximize drivability, comfort and traction. The Terrain Response® system's four available settings — General Driving, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts and Sand — ensure the vehicle is sure-footed no matter what the terrain or weather condition.
HILL DESCENT CONTROL
Patented by Land Rover, Hill Descent Control (HDC®) is a standard feature on all models. HDC assists the driver with controlled descents of difficult slopes by maintaining a constant speed and applying braking separately to each wheel.1
TESTED TO EXTREMES
In the neutral sound of our semi-anechoic chamber, we precisely expose the cabin to a range of frequencies and vibrations, making certain that the Discovery Sport sounds refined at every speed and across every surface.
In our climate chambers, we can recreate some of the most challenging wind conditions the Discovery Sport will face. Not just 150 mph blizzard winds, but high ambient temperatures and low airflow situations. Only by pushing all systems to their limits do we develop true reliability.
In real-world environments and our climate chambers, we freeze vehicles to -40°F and bake them to 131°F. Key functions and systems are then scrutinized to our exacting standards. So even in the most remote locations, comfort and peace of mind are never far away.
From the icy proving grounds of Arjeplog, Sweden to Dubai’s unforgiving desert sands, we ensure our legendary all-terrain performance is innate in every vehicle. Prototypes are developed across approximately 5,281 miles of the most demanding off-road routes.
9-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION
The lightweight, compact 9-speed automatic transmission provides optimum fuel economy, as well as greater control in low-grip conditions or when towing through the specially designed, ultra-low first gear.
Specifically designed for transverse applications, the higher top gear lowers engine revs to improve comfort and reduce noise when cruising at a sustained speed.
A standard feature of all our All-Wheel Drive (AWD) vehicles, the Torque Vectoring by Braking system enhances the agility and stability of the Discovery Sport when cornering. The system constantly balances the distribution of torque between all four wheels, whether on- or off-road, to improve grip and inspire confident steering.1
Whether on- and off-road, Active Driveline can disconnect drive to the rear wheels and provide maximum fuel economy. It continuously monitors key parameters and, when required, will re-engage All-Wheel Drive (AWD) within 300 milliseconds.

The Discovery Sport is designed with a life cycle approach, aiming to minimize environmental impact by considering the entire life cycle of the vehicle. From manufacturing, through customer use to end-of-life recycling, each element of the life cycle has been analyzed with a view to consuming fewer natural resources, using more sustainable materials and minimizing waste.
