LR4

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Drives nice. Missing some simple features Car drives nice. I'm not terribly thrilled with it. My expectations of what a Land Rover should be were not met. Windshield molding came apart after only a couple thousand miles. I was surprised and expected more from a Land Rover. Vehicle info I expected to be displayed (like tire pressure) only shows up when there's a low signal. UI for the entertainment system is not great- especially for XM/Sirius. Really difficult to put third row up and down while standing in the back of the car. Liftgate should be automatic. It doesnt close easily- I always have to get out of the car and re- close it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from All I ever wanted in an SUV! The LR4 runs rings around competition. I've done extensive research on full size SUV's before pulling the trigger on the Rover. The finalists were GMC Yukon/Chevy Tahoe, Mercedes GL and the LR4. After test-driving all three, the choice was clear. None of the competition offered such a great balance of comfort, cargo space, off-road capabilities and style as did the Land Rover. The cargo space is simply spectacular! My dog feels like a king back there with all the space and huge windows on all three sides. Yukon/Tahoe made a storage box at the floor of the cargo compartment making it too high for the dog to get in and out. No such problem with the Rover, specially with the ability to lower the suspension with a push of a button. The truck feels as solid off-road as it does on city streets and on the freeway. Very comfortable ride. The third row seating is spacious and comfortable. The towing capacity is off the charts. I love the keyless entry and start option. Mirrors automatically fold away when vehicle is locked. Did I mention it costs thousands less than comparably equipped all wheel drive Mercedes or GMC?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from I had higher expectations from Land Rover Like my title says, I would have expected better from Land Rover; especially after hearing all these rants and raves about how the company had a huge R&D makeover to get away from some of of those older, negative stereotypes that Land Rover is legendary for. Don't get me wrong, the SUV is not all bad. Having owed a Range Rover Sport previously and suffering constant mechanical issues, I would say the newer models are much more reliable, thus far. The drive feels smooth, especially for a 6,000 pound car, the seats are plush and comfortable, and the interior cabin is quite peaceful as it is insulated well. However, the small corners they tried to cut costs on are very obvious. For example, my middle AND rear sun shades violently snap open after going over a pot hole frequently and the silver accented floor plate on the front bumper is freely wiggling around. I'm no car designer by any means, but I really didn't think saving a few cents on more sturdy clips would have been that big of an issue. As I look around the car at the trim (especially in the rear cargo area), you'll see that the cut-outs for different attachments, covers, etc in the plastic are not even sanded or rounded off. Looking at the bigger picture, for the most part, anything that you would touch on a daily basis from the seats, to the steering wheel, to how the car drives is great, but the small issues that do come up are simply annoying. Would I recommend the car to another friend, sure, but I think Land Rover should consider paying closer attention to the details. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upscale Off-Roader My 2016 LR4 is the perfect balance of Luxury and performance. I needed an SUV for the family and the LR4 met all the requirements. Tough off-road, for the visits to the farm, while being at home at the local suburban landscape as well. All while living in an area that gets quite a bit of snow in the winter. Something the LR4 will handle without breaking a sweat. Truly a versatile yet luxurious vehicle. A+ Land Rover

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I have always hated driving long distances. In previous vehicles I owned an hour of driving or more was too long. My wife and I just got back from a 4000+ mile trip in our new LR4 and we could not be more satisfied. We drove for hours on end without fatigue; I actually enjoyed driving for the first time in my life. We conquered every trail and hill along our path with ease. We were pleasantly surprised to find that we got better gas millage than what was stated. We are already planning our next trip which will include much more off-roading.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2016 LR4 purchase I am a person who loves driving. I have had so many great cars in my life from BMW to Aston Martin I bought this truck for everyday use. I my say Iam so impressed with this truck. The smooth ride and handling are amazingly refined. No sales pitch here. Iam so happy to get inside this everyday. I believe this, who ever owned this vehicle feels the same way. Nothing like a RR. Nothing !

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my LR4! I traded up from an Evoque! We traded up from an Evoque and absolutely love this vehicle! The Evoque was flashy with quite a few options. But the LR4 is a very luxurious/rugged automobile with plenty of options to keep you busy and enjoying driving the vehicle! I cant say enough good things! Such a great car!
