Once I make a payment of the Reservation Deposit, what happens next?
Once you make a payment of the Reservation Deposit, you will receive a confirmation number via email. Your preferred Land Rover Retailer will contact you within 2 business days to discuss your vehicle preferences and complete your order. Your retailer will place the final order and work with you throughout the entire process.
Can I visit my Retailer and make a payment of the Reservation Deposit at that time?
Yes. Your Land Rover Retailer can complete your online reservation for you during your visit or you can visit your retailer and place your order directly with them.
Is my deposit refundable?
Your online reservation deposit is fully refundable for any reason. Please see Section 5 of the Reservation Terms & Conditions
for more information.
My retailer has asked for an additional deposit. Is this required?
The Land Rover Discovery Reservation program requires a $1,000 deposit. However, retailers are independent businesses. While we recommend they don’t require an additional deposit, we can’t prohibit it. It is suggested that you confirm the retailer’s refund policies directly with your retailer. Your Reservation Deposit of $1,000 is refundable at any time prior to signing a final purchase agreement with your retailer.
Is there a cut-off date for the Land Rover Discovery Reservation program?
Yes. The opportunity to make a Reservation Deposit online will end on May 15, 2017. Land Rover reserves the right to modify this date. After this program has concluded, please contact your local authorized Land Rover Retailer to order a Land Rover Discovery vehicle.
Do I need to place my actual order before this date?
No. Your retailer can place your vehicle order at any time, as long as you place your order prior to November 30, 2017. If your order is not placed by this date, you will be contacted to initiate the refund of your Reservation Deposit.
At what point is my Reservation Deposit no longer refundable?
Your Reservation Deposit is fully refundable at any time prior to signing a final purchase agreement with your retailer. We recommend you place your vehicle order with your retailer within 60 days of making the Reservation Deposit.
If I decide to change retailers, can I move my reservation?
We will do our best to work with you to change your retailer. However, it may depend on what point you’re at in the process. A request will be processed and if approved, we will transfer your Reservation Deposit to the alternate retailer of your choice. Please note that you will need to work with the new retailer to locate or order a new vehicle, which will impact your delivery timing.
If I change retailers, do I get to keep my original factory order build spot?
No. If you change retailers, your vehicle order will remain with the originating retailer. As a result, you will need to work with the new retailer to locate or order a new vehicle, which will impact your delivery timing.
I want to make a payment of the Reservation Deposit, but I have not decided on a retailer yet. Can I make a payment of the Reservation Deposit without selecting a retailer?
A retailer must be selected at the time you make a payment of the Reservation Deposit. If you are undecided or don’t know which retailer to select, the retailer closest to the zip code you enter into the online reservation form will be selected for you. We recommend you visit the retailer(s) on your short list prior to making a payment of the Reservation Deposit. If you decide to change retailers after you have made a payment of the Reservation Deposit, please contact the Land Rover Concierge (1-800-637-6837, Ext #9) for assistance.
Can I make a change to my vehicle order once it has been placed with a retailer?
Please contact your retailer to discuss options for making any changes to your order.
If I order a vehicle today, when can I expect delivery?
Retailers will be placing your order and will have the most up-to-date delivery information. Please contact your retailer for all delivery timing information.
What happens if my vehicle arrives at my Land Rover retailer and I decide to not take delivery?
Your Reservation Deposit of $1,000 is fully refundable at any time prior to signing a final purchase agreement with your retailer. Contact the Land Rover Concierge (1-800-637-6837, Ext #9) to request a refund.
Once I have made payment of the Reservation Deposit, can I transfer it to another person?
It may only be transferred to another member in your household, e.g., spouse, child, etc.
My Reservation Deposit was not applied to the final vehicle purchase agreement. What do I do?
Please contact your retailer as they will handle any adjustments to your final purchase agreement as needed.
When can I first place an order?
Orders are currently being taken at the retailer. You may make a payment of the Reservation Deposit starting on February 6, 2017.
Can I make a payment of the Reservation Deposit for any other Land Rover model?
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery is the only vehicle available through this program. All other Land Rover models can be ordered through your local Land Rover Retailer.
